What your client sees
A made-up client, Sarah Lim, 38, with policies and a unit trust from four providers. These are the same charts as in the app and the report.

Points to discuss
Facts and gaps, in words the client understands.
- Retirement income is S$1,200 a month short of the S$3,500 you want from 62.
- Some policy payouts only start at 65, after you plan to stop work at 62.
- Ethan's university: S$100,000 still to fund of S$120,000 by 2040.
- Death cover is S$50,000 below the benchmark of S$810,000 (9× income).
- TPD cover is S$110,000 below the benchmark of S$810,000 (9× income).
What Portfolio does
Every plan, any provider
Insurance, savings and retirement plans, investment-linked plans and unit trusts, from insurers, banks and fund houses. The same questions for every provider, so nothing depends on the company.
Cover against a benchmark
Death, disability and critical illness cover next to a benchmark for their income. Defaults from the LIA Protection Gap Study; you set your own.
Goals and retirement
Retirement income each month, counting CPF LIFE and policy payouts, plus goals like a child's university or a home, with how much is still to find.
Cover by age
See when cover drops or ends, from today to 100, with their retirement age marked. Catch a term plan running out before it happens.
A report for the client
A clean PDF with your name, your firm's disclaimer and the charts. The client's copy speaks to them; your notes stay in the app.
Yearly reviews
Mark a review done and get reminded next year. The next review shows what changed since the last one: cover, premiums, net worth, plans.
Notes that don't match
When your meeting notes say something different from the review, like a downgraded hospital plan or a lapsed policy, you're told to check with the client.
Their whole picture
Income, cash, CPF, investments, property and debts, one total each, with net worth and a simple view of where their money sits.
How a review goes
- 1Enter their policies and investmentsPick the type and answer what applies. Don't know an amount? Mark it to check; it's never counted as zero.
- 2Add where they are and what they wantIncome, assets and debts, retirement plans and goals. A few totals, not a spreadsheet.
- 3Walk through the gaps togetherCover against benchmark, goals still to fund, and points to discuss, on your phone or laptop.
- 4Hand over the report, review yearlySave the PDF for the client, mark the review done, and you'll be reminded next year.

Questions from advisors
Which providers does it work with?
All of them: insurers, banks and fund houses. There's no product list to keep up to date. You pick the kind of plan and answer the same questions for any provider, so a policy, a bank savings plan and a unit trust sit side by side.
Do I upload policy documents?
No. You type in the details, reading from the policy schedule, fund statement or the client's summary. Nothing is uploaded, so no copies of client documents are kept.
Where does the benchmark come from?
The defaults are 9 times income for death and 3.9 times for critical illness, the averages for working adults in the Life Insurance Association's 2022 Protection Gap Study. You can change them for each client.
Does it use my analyses?
Entering policies, the charts and the report don't. When you analyse a meeting, the review is read too, so follow-up questions can use it, for the same one analysis.
When does it open?
Soon. We're finishing it with a small group of advisors first. Join the waitlist and we'll email you the day it opens, with nothing else in between unless you ask for tips and offers.
How will the free trial work?
When it opens, we switch Portfolio on for your account, free for 30 days, no card. Your analyses stay as they are on your plan. At the end you choose Portfolio or carry on as you are, and everything you entered is kept.
Can I keep my current plan?
Yes. Portfolio is a separate plan above Pro. Starter and Pro stay as they are, at the same price.
