About AdvisorKin
We built AdvisorKin for the advisors we know.
It started with conversations with friends who are financial advisors. They didn't need more sales tools. They needed to remember.
A birthday missed. A comparison promised over coffee and forgotten. A review meeting where they couldn't recall what the client had been worried about last year. One friend kept everything in a spreadsheet, too manual to keep up. Another paid for a big CRM built for sales teams, expensive and full of fields that had nothing to do with a client's family. Some had an app from their company, but it was built for that company's policies, not for remembering that a client's mum had just had a fall. Most had notes spread across a notebook, their phone and a hundred chat threads.
What we kept hearing
Dates slip by
A client's birthday, a policy anniversary, a child's big exam. Remembered a week too late.
Promises get lost
"I'll send you the comparison" at coffee, then buried under a hundred chat threads.
Reviews start cold
Walking in without remembering the kids' names, or what worried them last year.
Spreadsheets are too manual
Every detail typed into a grid, no reminders, and painful to use on a phone.
Big CRMs don't fit
Built for sales pipelines, priced per seat, and full of fields that say nothing about a client's family.
Notes live everywhere
A notebook, the phone's notes app, chat messages and memory. None of them talk to each other.
Every client gets the same approach
Some want the numbers, some want reassurance. You only find out which after a meeting goes flat.
The questions run dry
Small talk done, mind blank. The question that would uncover what they really need comes to you on the drive home.
Messages take too long to write
A birthday wish, a follow-up, a check-in after a quiet month. Each one written from scratch, or the same text sent to everyone.
Lots of coffees, few next steps
Plenty of time spent talking, but hard to tell what actually moved a client forward.
What they described was a personal assistant: someone who remembers what each client said, reminds them before it matters, and helps them walk into every meeting prepared.
So we built that. You write what happened in your own words, right after the meeting. AdvisorKin keeps the details that matter and reminds you of birthdays and follow-ups on your Today screen, and each morning on Telegram if you connect it.
It also helps you understand each client: what they care about, how they like to be spoken to, and what they haven't told you yet. Before a meeting it gives you questions to ask, so you never run out of things to say. When it's time to reach out, it writes a message for that client in a tone that suits them. Copy it, paste it into your chat and send. Less time preparing and typing, and better conversations when you do talk.
Every feature came from an advisor telling us what gets in the way. If something slows you down, email us at support@advisorkin.com.
CRM knows the client.
Kin knows the person.
