How it works

Three steps after every meeting

1

Write what you remember

Right after the coffee or the call, type everything in your own words into one notes box. Short forms, typos, half sentences. Add a follow-up date if you promised something.

Log a meeting · Rachel Tan

Coffee at Holland Village. 2nd baby due March!! Husband Wei Jie wants her to stop work for a year. Worried about mum's hospital bills after her fall. Still has the old company plan only. Didn't want to decide anything today, wants to talk to WJ first.

2

Press Analyse

AdvisorKin picks out the facts that matter: family, health, money worries, life events. It reads their communication style, suggests questions for next time and drafts a message to send.

Second child due in March
Focus: protect the growing family
Ask next time: how is mum after her fall?
Style: Supportive, give her time to decide
3

Show up prepared

Your Today screen, and a morning Telegram message if you connect it, list birthdays, appointments, overdue follow-ups and important dates. Birthday wishes are drafted in each client's style, ready to copy.

Every conversation

Talk to clients with less effort

Less time preparing and typing, and better conversations when you do talk.

Understand each client

What they care about, what worries them, how they like to be spoken to, and what they haven't told you yet.

Never run out of questions

Questions ready before every meeting, so the talk doesn't run dry and you uncover what they really need.

A message written for them

Birthday wishes, messages for important dates, and a follow-up after each analysed meeting, in a tone that suits each client. Copy, paste into your chat, send.

Why we built it

Our advisor friends kept losing follow-ups.

Birthdays remembered too late. Comparisons promised over coffee, then buried in chat threads. Notes spread across a notebook, a spreadsheet and their phone, and big CRMs that cost too much and were built for sales teams, not for knowing a client's family.

And the talking itself took too much effort. Running out of questions halfway through a meeting. Using the same approach with every client. Writing every follow-up message from scratch.

What they wanted was a personal assistant that remembers everything, reminds them in time and helps them know what to say. So we built one.

How we're different

Other tools track policies. AdvisorKin knows the person.

You probably already have somewhere to keep policies and due dates. Here's what AdvisorKin adds.

Your company's advisor app

Built for that company's policies and submissions. If you move, it usually stays behind.

AdvisorKin

Works with any company and any insurer. Keep using your company's system for policies. AdvisorKin is for the person: their family, worries, style and what to ask next.

Policy and premium reminder apps

Track premiums, due dates and renewals. Good at making sure payments aren't missed.

AdvisorKin

Reminds you of birthdays and follow-ups too, but mostly helps you talk: questions to ask, how to speak to each client, and a message ready to send.

Financial planning software

Built to produce the plan: cashflow, CPF, projections and reports. Great for the numbers, but it takes time to set up for each client.

AdvisorKin

Built for the conversation: what each client cares about, what to ask next, and how to say it so this person listens. A message every morning tells you who to contact today.

Big CRMs and spreadsheets

Well-known advisor CRMs start at around S$50 per advisor a month and are built for sales pipelines. Spreadsheets are free but easy to fall behind on.

AdvisorKin

Free for up to 10 clients, then from S$15 a month. Type your notes the way you'd tell a friend and AdvisorKin picks out the facts that matter. Made for your phone.

Communication styles

Speak the way each client listens

Some clients want the bottom line. Some want the numbers. Some need time and reassurance. AdvisorKin reads the signs in your notes and suggests how to open, what to avoid, and how to word your messages.

Similar to the four styles used in DISC, DOPE and colour-based trainings. Based on what you've observed, not an official or affiliated assessment.

Questions

Good to know

What is an analysis?

One press of Analyse on a client. AdvisorKin reads the notes you've written since last time (a very long backlog may take a second press) and updates their key facts, communication style, questions to ask and a message to send. Pressing Make it personal on a birthday or date wish also uses one, and the button always says so first. Writing notes, reminders, the first meeting prep sheet, ready-made wishes and the digest don't use analyses.

Do my clients see anything or get messages?

No. AdvisorKin is only for you. Messages are drafted for you to copy and send yourself, the way you normally reach that client.

My company already gives me an app. Do I still need this?

Your company's app is for their policies and submissions, so keep using it for that. AdvisorKin is for what those apps don't hold: what each client told you, how they like to be spoken to, what to ask next time, and the follow-ups you promised. It works the same whichever company you're with.

Do I need to install an app?

No. It runs in your browser, which means you can use it on any device: iPhone, Android, iPad, laptop or desktop. On your phone, add it to your home screen for one-tap access. The morning digest uses Telegram, which is optional.

Do I get anything for inviting other advisors?

Yes. Share your link from Settings. When an advisor who signs up with it starts Starter or Pro, they get 10 extra analyses, and so do you if you're paying for Starter or Pro too. The details are in our Terms.

What happens if I cancel or move to Free?

You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. Nothing is deleted. If you have more clients than Free holds, your most recently met ones stay active and the rest are kept, read-only, until you upgrade again. You can swap a locked client for an active one any time.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Starter and Pro can download everything as a spreadsheet at any time, and so can anyone who has ever paid for a plan.

How do I sign in without a password?

Enter your email and we send you a 6-digit code. Type it in and you're in, on any device. There's no password to remember or reset, and none that can be guessed or leaked.
